A Little More Love.

Whoever wrote this, Thank you
Last week, I went out for dinner with my husband. It was a sushi place called Kyoto, just a block or so away from where he works, and usually I enjoy myself.

I wasn't in a good mood. My summer has been overwhelming, and I can never seem to get enough work done. I have a virus on my computer that is driving me insane, and between the tension and all the hours I've spent here trying to:
A) Get rid of Bing, and restore Google Chrome

B) Uninstall various unwanted programs.

C) Get some work done.

I've given myself a weird backache. It feels like I pulled a muscle right behind my shoulder blade that spreads to all the way around it. I actually think I've been using this arm too much from clicking, but I can't make it better, because I have to keep repeating A, B, and C. Grrrr...

So after picking at my room temperature Chirashi stale overcooked rice, I went to the ladies room. While washing my hands, I noticed a shelf behind me that held mouthwash, disposable cups and an artificial plant. I helped myself to a swig of mouthwash and I noticed something odd sticking out from the potted plant. It was the note and knitted heart you see in the photo above.

On the envelope, it says "The world needs more love letters!! This is for you! <3" It also said, "Open and Read me!!" So I did.

Inside was a note that says, "Hello Beautiful. Just for you, just because. Hope this will brighten your day. No matter what happens, be strong because things will get better. Never lose hope or faith. Just keep smiling because you are beautiful."

Well, thank you, kind stranger. Thanks for the smile. It turns out this is the doing of someone from http://www.moreloveletters.com/ Have you seen this yet? What a cute idea! I love it!

To think, there's people around the world, who just write positive little notes to brighten a strangers day. What a sweet idea. Has anyone else ever seen or heard of this? I'd love to hear about it :D

Happy Gay Pride Month!!

This is the book cover. Obviously.
Happy Gay Pride Month! June is the month we celebrate those of the Rainbow Flag. Although I am not homosexual myself, I have many friends and a brother-in-law who are. I am proud to call myself an ally. If that offends you, I don't care.

I also know authors who write LGBT, and I'd like to introduce you to one. Introducing...
T.M.  SMITH!!

Calendar year 2081. Our planet has finally succumbed to Global Warming.

Dr. Anthony Smith, one of only a few thousand people to survive Global Warming Ignition, has come to the conclusion that the destruction of our planet and society had been due to Injudicious Breeding which lead (in his opinion) to over population, WAR, unnatural climate changes, lower intelligence, poor physical health, poverty, lust and greed. Having isolated the Dionysus gene, he decided to start society anew by manipulating Human DNA to ensure all their offspring would be born Gay/Lesbian. Thus creating a society where Gay/Lesbian is the norm... to be straight labels you an Opposite and makes you an Outkast.

~ Nature Versus Nurture ~

Some 200 years later Dr. Smith’s descendants have maintained control of the Government that rules society. House Gaeland rules their lands, as well as the other 6 countries that survived GWI. Twins, Aiya and Aiyan, are next in line to rule alongside their soon to be wife and husband. There is, however, a growing anomaly; one that threatens to unravel over 200 years of progress. This anomaly is known as Opposites.

About T.M. Smith: A military brat born and raised at Ft. Benning Georgia; Smith is an avid reader, reviewer and writer.  She now calls Texas home from her small town on the outskirts of the DFW Metroplex.  Most days you can find her curled up with her kindle and a good book alongside a glass of something aged and red or a steaming cup of coffee!

At 42 years young, she’s decided to enter the next phase of her life by adding the title of “author” to her list of accomplishments that includes single mom of three disturbingly outspoken and decidedly different kids, one of which is Autistic.  Her two eldest kids and gay best friend were the inspiration for her upcoming new release, Opposites.

Tammy has been in the writing community for a LOONG time, first as a blogger, now as a writer, with 'Opposites' being her first novel. She followed that up with 'The Library'. As you can see, she is a proud ally as well. Check her out and help her support the LGBT community <3
